We are seeking a Senior Electrical Controls Engineer to lead the design, development, and implementation of advanced electrical control systems for high-performance manufacturing equipment. This is an exciting opportunity to own key projects from concept to completion, working cross-functionally with R&D, Quality, and Production teams to support next-generation automation technologies.

Design, develop, and test electrical control systems, components, and equipment for production machinery.
Lead PLC programming, motion control systems, and HMI development (Allen-Bradley, CompactLogix, EtherNet/IP, IO-Link, ModBus TCP).
Troubleshoot, debug, and maintain complex electrical systems on the manufacturing floor.
Provide daily technical leadership and mentoring to the manufacturing engineering team.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (R&D, Quality, Production) during product development, testing, and design reviews.
Manage small to large-scale engineering projects from concept through delivery.
Develop documentation: schematics, prints, supplier communication, and Engineering Change Orders (ECOs).
Support continuous improvement in production processes, quality output, and equipment reliability.
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (BSEE), Electrical Engineering Technologies (EET), or related field.
5+ years of experience designing, programming, and testing electrical controls systems.
Deep expertise in:
Allen-Bradley CompactLogix PLCs, HMI development, Vision Systems.
Power distribution, I/O devices, sensors, pneumatics, and industrial actuators.
Troubleshooting complex electrical systems and writing technical documentation.
Preferred experience with:
Keyence Vision Systems, Turck HMIs, Fanuc 6-axis robots, IAI Linear Actuators.
Strong mechanical aptitude and understanding of electromechanical systems.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills across engineering and production teams.
Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
