Lead Innovation in Advanced Signal Processing for National Security

Are you a research-driven engineer or scientist with deep expertise in signal processing and RF systems? Join a nationally recognized team that tackles some of the most complex signal processing challenges in the defense and intelligence sector. This is your opportunity to drive technical innovation in environments where failure is not an option.

What You'll Do

  • Design and implement cutting-edge signal processing algorithms for RF applications in C/C++ and Python.

  • Analyze and interpret RF signal data under extreme conditions (low SNR, interference, non-stationary environments).

  • Conduct research and development in fields such as radar, digital communications, adaptive antenna arrays, and geolocation.

  • Transition algorithms into high-performance, real-time production systems.

  • Collaborate cross-functionally with technical teams and communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.

  • Work independently or as part of a compact, high-impact team tackling mission-critical projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform algorithm development, simulation, and modeling of complex RF systems.

  • Reverse engineer and analyze signal structures in dynamic environments.

  • Translate mission objectives into actionable technical solutions.

  • Present findings and updates to clients and technical peers in a clear and compelling manner.

  • Maintain project timelines, expectations, and technical documentation.

Required Qualifications

  • M.S. or Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering, Applied Physics, Computer Science, or related field.

  • Minimum 2 years of relevant experience (5+ years preferred).

  • U.S. Citizenship required with active Top Secret/SSBI clearance.

  • Strong background in one or more of the following areas:

    • Signal Processing

    • Radar Systems

    • Digital Communications

    • Detection & Estimation Theory

    • Remote Sensing

    • Adaptive Antenna Arrays

    • Navigation/Geolocation

  • Proficiency in C/C++ and Python for scientific or numerical algorithm development.

  • Familiarity with Linux environments and open-source toolchains.

Preferred Skills & Experience

  • Experience with Software Defined Radio (SDR), RF/baseband architectures, or wireless propagation modeling.

  • Exposure to modern communications protocols (LTE, GSM, 802.11, etc.).

  • Knowledge of numerical linear algebra.

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Why You'll Love Working Here

  • Relocation Paid in Full – Whether you're across the state or across the country, we've got you covered.
