DSP Engineer – Software Defined Radio (SDR)

What You’ll Do:

  • Design and implement advanced DSP solutions to collect, process, and exploit RF signals across a wide range of wireless protocols.

  • Develop modeling techniques, proofs-of-concept, and transition prototypes into mission-ready systems.

  • Conduct research and development on real-time SDR platforms and protocol processing environments.

  • Write production-level code in C/C++ and Python for complex signal processing systems.

  • Leverage knowledge of digital communications theory including modulation, detection, and estimation.

  • Collaborate with distributed teams in the Intelligence and Defense sectors.

  • Utilize code management tools such as Git for version control and workflow efficiency.


Required Qualifications:

  • Active TS/SCI Clearance (mandatory)

  • 5+ years of experience in RF signal collection, analysis, and exploitation

  • Strong grasp of digital communications theory and DSP algorithms

  • Proficiency in C/C++ and Python for real-time systems

  • Background in systems engineering for Defense or Intelligence applications

  • Skilled in source control tools (e.g., Git)

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related field

  • Excellent communication and documentation skills


Preferred Skills & Experience:

  • Experience with Software Defined Radio (SDR) platforms

  • Familiarity with XMIDAS frameworks

  • Knowledge of geolocation techniques and complex RF environments

  • Hands-on experience with wireless air interface protocols

  • Development of multi-threaded signal processing algorithms in Linux environments

  • Strong track record working with distributed engineering teams
