We're seeking an experienced Senior Tax Associate to join our elite Financial Services Tax team in the heart of New York City. As a key player in one of the nation's top Professional Services and Business Advisory firms, you'll work with leading private equity, hedge, and alternative investment funds, leveraging your expertise to drive success for our high-profile clients.
• Lead complex tax engagements for financial services clients
• Oversee tax compliance and research for hedge funds and private equity firms
• Manage and develop junior team members
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities
• Ensure exceptional client service and relationship management
• 6+ years of public accounting tax experience, with 2+ years in a supervisory role
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field (Master's preferred)
• CPA, JD, or EA certification
• Proven experience with hedge funds and private equity in a top 50 public accounting firm
• Strong proficiency in tax software (GoSystems, CCH Axcess, RIA)
• Excellent communication, leadership, and project management skills
