This key leadership position oversees all financial operations for our manufacturing facility, managing a team of finance professionals while partnering with senior leadership to drive business success.
Core Responsibilities
- Lead all plant-level financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, and reporting
- Direct monthly closing processes and financial statement preparation
- Oversee cost accounting activities in a manufacturing environment
- Manage capital expenditure processes and fixed asset accounting
- Supervise accounts payable, payroll operations, and general accounting functions
- Lead a team of 2 accountants, providing mentorship and professional development
- Partner with plant leadership to analyze financial performance and drive operational improvements
- Ensure compliance with corporate policies, GAAP, and regulatory requirements
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 5+ years of manufacturing accounting experience
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
- Experience with ERP systems and ADP payroll
- Demonstrated leadership abilities and team management experience
- Excellence in financial analysis and reporting
- Strong communication and presentation skills
