Key Responsibilities

Client Management & Engagement

• Oversee multiple client engagements, ensuring timely and high-quality deliverables.
• Build and maintain strong, professional relationships with clients.

Tax Preparation & Review

• Prepare and review complex multi-state returns, including 1040s, 1041s, 1120s, and 1065s.
• Provide expertise in estate planning, fiduciary matters, and tax strategies for high-net-worth individuals.
• Develop year-end tax projections and customize strategies for quarterly tax planning.

Research & Compliance

• Research tax regulations and deliver internal training on relevant updates.
• Resolve tax notices and represent clients in examinations by government agencies.

Leadership & Staff Development

• Supervise and mentor staff accountants on client engagements.
• Evaluate team performance and provide constructive feedback to foster growth.
• Lead workshops, webinars, and other educational initiatives for the firm and clients.

Key Requirements

• Experience: Minimum 3–5+ years in public accounting with a diverse tax background.
• Certification: CPA designation preferred or required.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency using tools like CCH Axcess Tax, Engagement, and QuickBooks.
• Soft Skills:
  • Strong technical knowledge of tax regulations.
  • Exceptional communication and analytical problem-solving abilities.
  • Organizational and time management skills to handle multiple projects.
