Education:
Minimum: BA or BS Degree in a related field.
Certification:
Certified Dietary Manager, Registered with The Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics
Experience:
Strong in diet therapy and food service management in a health care facility. Required to be self-motivated to take responsibility for nutritional care of all assigned customers; committed to working within time constraints; able to work well with other disciplines and operational team members of the Nutrition Services Department; independent thinker; able to work with the best interest of patients'/residents' needs/wishes to ensure the quality of life; display sound judgment in prioritizing work assignments. Demonstrated ability to handle confidential information with discretion and ability to deal with the public in a professional and courteous manner. Ability to meet deadlines, manage multiple priorities and enhance the spirit of teamwork through effective role modeling. Computer literacy is required with word processing, and spreadsheets.
