Our client is a privately-held software firm based in northern New Jersey, currently seeking a talented Full-stack Software Developer to join our team. This is a full-time position with on-site presence required from Monday to Friday, 8:30 am to 5:00 pm.

Our firm specializes in providing an integrated platform for portfolio and risk management, security analytics, trade flow, and order management to prominent financial institutions. Our clientele includes major investment banks, hedge funds, broker-dealers, and asset management firms.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain cutting-edge technology to deliver unique portfolio and risk analysis solutions to clients via the web.
• Conduct functional and empirical analysis throughout the software development lifecycle, including design, implementation, testing, documentation, and maintenance.
• Analyze, design, and develop software solutions, ensuring comprehensive testing from inception to deployment.

Qualifications: 

• Proficiency in C#, JavaScript, JQuery, AJAX, and the Microsoft MVC stack.
• Familiarity with Infragistics toolkit, SQL Server, and Microsoft Excel add-ins is advantageous.
• Ability to comprehend business requirements and devise solutions employing various technologies.
• Thorough understanding of technology interactions, strengths, limitations, and ability to choose optimal technologies for specific problems.
• Strong programming skills, including the ability to write and debug complex computer programs.
• Experience in creating simulation programs for testing solutions.
• Background in the financial services industry is desirable.
• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
