We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Systems Engineer to join our team at our Sioux Falls office. In this role, you will be responsible for implementing system engineering best practices for off-highway integrated transporters and trailers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Execute system engineering best practices for off-highway integrated transporter and trailer.
• Define and maintain product-level feature specifications, system layout, and documentation.
• Understand the needs of the intended end users and translate stakeholder needs into product requirements.
• Define system-level features and decompose requirements into individual subsystem definitions.
• Coordinate system definition, design, test, and integration across multiple engineering disciplines and development teams.
• Ensure system and components perform as required through product verification and validation.
• Ensure the product aligns with applicable standards.
• Generate and evaluate alternative solution concepts.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area.
• Follow established safety and ergonomic standards.
• May be required to perform comparable duties or assist in other areas as needed.
• Learn, understand, continuously improve, and promote the division's quality management system in accordance with ISO standards.

Education & Experience:

• Minimum of a bachelor's degree in engineering.
• Experienced engineer with 5+ years of career experience, or 3+ years' experience with a master's degree.
• Experience in lieu of education may be considered.
• Engineering fields applicable to this position: Systems Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

• Proficiency in standard systems engineering methodologies, techniques, and related practices.
• Familiarity with at least one current requirements management tool.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong problem analysis and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision and self-motivated.
• Ability to see interrelationships and patterns.
• Travel may be necessary based on position requirements.
