Product Marketing Manager

San Jose, CA · Accounting/Finance

Our client is looking for a Senior Product Marketing Manager who is passionate about customer-focused roles. This position will work closely alongside Product and Sales to ensure product-market fit and understand customers' needs.

  • Create the product marketing plan, detailing all activities from product launch to demand generation and sales support.
  • You can build product positioning and messaging solutions by creating compelling product marketing content, including presentations, demos and marketing collateral. A compelling, descriptive, and well-written content that explains business value and benefits.
  • Work together on marketing programs, including webinars and events.
  • Create marketing strategies and programs that distinguish our brand and are professional, creative and memorable.
  • To ensure that the products meet market needs, and to translate product capabilities into differentiated messages on the market, work closely with Product Management.
  • Meet with prospects and users to learn about their needs and establish relationships.
  • Sales support with customer-facing presentations, battle cards, solution briefs, and other such things. their ability to position solutions and close deals; provide sales support and training.
  • To optimize and improve sales and marketing results, measure marketing programs and content effectiveness.
  • Contribute towards the editorial direction of corporate publications as well as thought leadership content, such blogs, brochures, and contributed columns, articles for analyst newsletters or customer newsletters, and other related materials. In line with our core positioning.

Who Will Be a Great Fit?  
  • 7+ years experience in a Product Marketing Manager role
  • 3+ years experience working in product marketing roles within biotech, enterprise software, and/or biopharma
  • Experience and knowledge with the Life Science R&D function, specifically small molecule drug discovery and HTS 
  • Ability to convey value propositions and draw insights with an acquired familiarity of our products and use cases
  • Quantitative analytical experience
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
  • Self-starter with the ability to wear multiple hats, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience collaborating cross-functionally and building consensus among multiple stakeholders
