Senior Inventory Accountant

  • Salary in the $100 - 120,000 range + bonus potential.

  • This person will have a direct line to the CFO.
  • This is a remote opportunity, however, there is a strong preference for this person to be based in the Bay Area so that they can attend periodic meetings.

Our client is an exciting, growing lifestyle brand that has a strong presence in the marketplace. The company has grown DRAMATICALLY over the last few years and they are building their finance/accounting team.

  • Develop inventory reports and analyses, monitor inventory transactions (e.g.: Receiving, COGS, Returns, Shrink), and investigate/resolve issues within the system if applicable
  • Work closely with internal teams to ensure that all inventory transactions flow through successfully, and that the accounting is consistent with system and financial reporting
  • Assist with ad-hoc reports which may require creating new financial reports which analyze different areas of the business and analyze monthly/quarterly financials, including review of variances
  • Prepare audit schedules and respond to audit inquiries
  • Preparation of internal and external ad hoc reporting and audit deliverables in accordance with GAAP ASC 330 and Accounting for Inventory Policy.

Who Will Be a Great Fit?  
  • Minimum 5+ years of inventory accounting experience
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs etc.) and the ability to quickly manipulate and analyze large data sets and build reports
