  • This is a direct hire position

Our clients Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) is a 57-bed unit that includes intensive and sub-intensive patients. isolation rooms, a treatment room, a lactation room, bereavement room, an overnight stay room for families and a family lounge. Common procedures in the NICU include assessment of patient's status, stabilization of neonates at all high-risk deliveries, care of patients requiring assisted ventilation/oxygen therapy, care of pre and post-operative patients, maintaining/monitoring invasive and non invasive hemodynamic monitoring, assist with bedside procedures, assist with invasive surgical procedures performed in the NICU, assist with diagnostic testing (MRI, CAT scan, sonograms, cardiac catheterizations and eye exam).

Who Will Be a Great Fit?  
  1. New York State Registered Professional Nurse license in good standing.
  2. At least one year of recent NICU experience required.
  3. Neonatal Resuscitation (NRP) certification (or must be obtained by the end of orientation).
  4. BLS, ACLS and PALS certifications
  5. Bachelors in Nursing
