  • Nights, 7:00pm-7:30am with rotating weekends & holidays
  • This is a direct hire position

Our client has a 23 bed Labor and Delivery unit within Perinatal Services. Perinatal Services nurses provide patient and family centered care, working closely with other disciplines including but not limited to, midwives, anesthesiologists, resident physicians and obstetricians. Nurses are skilled in care provided in triage, labor, delivery, recovery, cesarean section delivery, in the on-unit surgical suite, and PACU. Our Regional Perinatal Program serves 13 surrounding counties. Perinatal Services includes a level 4 NICU, postpartum unit, LnD. A number of birthing options are available to low risk women including whirlpool tubs, ambulatory monitoring, squatting bars, and birthing balls. Common procedures performed on the unit are antenatal diagnostic testing, and medical treatment of complications of pregnancy.
The Registered Professional Nurse is responsible for the planning, implementing and evaluation of care for a given patient population with the established standards and practices of the Hospital.  This process is enacted through direct clinical practice, management of patient care and general professional duties.

Who Will Be a Great Fit?  
  • New York State Registered Professional Nurse license in good standing.
  • At least one year of recent Labor and Delivery experience required.
  • BLS, ACLS and PALS certifications
  • Bachelors in Nursing
