Responsible for initiating and managing product planning, delivery, and marketing throughout the entire product portfolio life cycle.

  • Oversee new product introductions, including developing the value proposition, sales training, forecasting, competitive analysis, and pricing to ensure profitable and differentiated positioning in strategic target markets.
  • Act as the product expert, collaborating with internal stakeholders on market research, sales planning, engineering development, and manufacturing to ensure successful product launches.
  • Engage with OEM customers, distributors, contractors, and product end-users to understand and collect the voice of the customer (VOC).
  • Take ownership of product lifecycle management, establishing and overseeing the product lifecycle process, covering the introduction of new products, maintenance of maturing products, and retirement of aging SKUs.
  • Develop a comprehensive understanding of alternative and competing technologies, businesses, and market values to enhance the overall product strategy.
  • Utilize data, research, and market analysis to enhance product strategies and roadmaps.
  • Stay updated on new technologies, products, and changes in governing body standards that could impact current and future business opportunities.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive product vision, define product requirements, coordinate resources, guide the team through key milestones, and manage product releases.
  • Define and analyze metrics that measure the success of products.
  • Identify and track key performance metrics.

Who Will Be a Great Fit?  

Candidate must have experience in a manufacturing environment, possess an engineering background, and have worked with electrical components.

  • 3+ years of proven experience in Product Management in a manufacturing or engineering industry.
  • 3+ years in a technically driven environment within a broad cross-functional team.
  • Analytical skills: Ability to analyze data for industry trends, customer insights, and sales performance.
  • In-depth understanding of product costing attributes.
  • Collaboration skills: Capable of working with senior management, operations, engineering, and supply teams.
  • Project Management skills: Ability to manage multiple projects, product lines, and deliverables.
  • Knowledge of business fundamentals, engineering concepts, and the marketing and sales process.
  • Collaborative, supportive, team-based thinking.
  • Extremely focused and organized.
  • High level of capability and experience in delivering results in a rapidly changing and intense environment.
  • Process-oriented and systems-thinking with problem-solving abilities.
