Supply Chain Management Specialist

About the Role:

Join our dynamic Property & Procurement team as a Supply Chain Management Specialist, where you will play a pivotal role in steering the supply chain operations to align with our program offices' strategic goals. This hybrid position offers the flexibility to work from one of our vibrant locations in Cambridge, MA, St. Petersburg, FL, Reston, VA, or Houston, TX. You will be instrumental in forging robust supplier partnerships, optimizing procurement processes, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality goods at the best value.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Navigate complex supply chain networks to meet program objectives and business strategies.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to secure optimal quality and cost.
  • Mitigate risks by proactively identifying and addressing potential supplier issues.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams during product development cycles and mass production stages.
  • Source, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers to achieve competitive solutions.
  • Manage purchase order data within MRP/ERP systems and resolve any invoice/payment discrepancies.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends and regulatory changes affecting supply chain risk management.
  • Contribute to logistics and inventory support as needed.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in business, supply chain management, or a related field.
  • 3-5 years of relevant experience in a supply chain role.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Knowledge of FAR/DFARS and CMMC requirements for supplier due diligence.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Active Secret Clearance.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently.
  • Self-motivated with the capability to work both independently and collaboratively.

Security Requirement:

Candidates selected for this position must be able to obtain and maintain a government security clearance.
