Salary Range: $125,000 - $167,000

About the Role

We're seeking an experienced Traffic Engineering Project Manager to join our distinguished Civil Engineering team in Boston. This key position combines technical expertise with project leadership in transportation infrastructure, traffic safety, and operations analysis.

Core Responsibilities

• Lead and manage complex transportation infrastructure projects for state and municipal agencies
• Develop and execute comprehensive project work plans and budgets
• Oversee traffic safety analyses and engineering calculations
• Direct team members in the preparation of technical deliverables
• Collaborate with MassDOT and other government stakeholders
• Represent the firm at industry events and client meetings
• Manage client relationships and project communications

Required Qualifications

• Professional Engineering (PE) license in Massachusetts
• 10+ years of progressive transportation and traffic engineering experience
• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering
• Proven experience with MassDOT standards and procedures
• Advanced proficiency in CADD, Synchro, and GIS software
• Strong project management and team leadership capabilities
• Excellence in written and verbal communication

Preferred Qualifications

• Professional Traffic Operations Engineer (PTOE) certification
• Direct experience with MassDOT projects
• Master's degree in Civil Engineering or related field
