Key Responsibilities

As a Senior Control Systems Engineer, you will:

• Design, program, and troubleshoot PLCs (Programmable Logic Controllers), including Allen-Bradley MicroLogix, ControlLogix, and CompactLogix systems.
• Create, read, and edit logic diagrams, wiring diagrams, single-line diagrams, and P&IDs (Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams).
• Perform and verify the process and control designs for a variety of projects, incorporating PLCs, networks, drives, instrumentation, and control panels.
• Collaborate in on-site system startups, diagnose issues, and provide innovative solutions during implementation phases.
• Repair and refurbish electrical system components, such as PLC modules, HMIs, and other hardware.
• Engage in site commissioning and startup activities for control system integrations.

What We’re Looking For

To excel in this role, you should bring the following qualifications and experience to the table:

• A minimum of 2+ years of hands-on experience programming Allen-Bradley PLCs (or Siemens PLCs).
• Proficiency in programming FactoryTalk PanelView HMI systems.
• Background in process controls engineering, with experience in all aspects of controls, including electrical drawings, panel design, PLC programming, and commissioning.
• Strong troubleshooting skills for both mechanical and electrical systems.
• Previous experience in site installations, commissioning, and startup.
