Technical Sales Executive - Manufacturing

Their products play key roles in complex systems, offering reinforcement, sealing, coating, laminating, cementing, and binding capabilities.

Construction Industry: As a private-label manufacturer, the company specializes in waterproofing tapes, sealing membranes, and peel-and-stick solutions that integrate seamlessly into other systems.

Shoe Industry: A leader in producing reinforcement tapes and functional elastics for the footwear sector.

With a strong presence in the U.S. and Europe, they are seeking a dynamic Sales Executive to drive business growth, acquire new clients, and expand relationships with existing customers. 


Position Overview:

As a Sales Executive, you will play a key role in achieving sales goals by identifying new business opportunities and fostering strong client relationships. Your responsibilities will include market expansion, sales strategy execution, and collaboration with internal teams to support customer projects. The ideal candidate thrives in a competitive sales environment and has experience in technical B2B sales, waterproofing products, sealants, polymer coatings, or related construction materials. This role offers remote flexibility after the ramp-up period, with a preference for candidates located in the New England region for easier access to the office in Rochester, NH.

Travel Requirement:
Flexibility to travel 50–60%, primarily within the U.S., with occasional travel to Europe as needed.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Client Relationship Management: Maintain and expand relationships with existing customers, ensuring long-term collaboration and satisfaction.
  • New Business Acquisition: Identify, engage, and close new business opportunities to drive growth.
  • Market Expansion & Strategy: Develop and execute sales strategies to unlock new market opportunities in the construction and manufacturing industries.
  • Sales Promotion & Industry Representation: Represent the company at trade shows, industry events, and client meetings to strengthen market presence and generate leads.
  • Project Collaboration: Work closely with internal departments (R&D, product development, and logistics) to implement customer projects successfully.
  • Sales Planning & Forecasting: Provide regular updates, sales forecasts, and field reports to senior leadership.
  • Competitor Analysis: Monitor market trends and competitors to provide actionable insights.
  • Customer Support & Issue Resolution: Address client inquiries, resolve challenges, and ensure high levels of service.
  • Lead Generation & Strategic Outreach: Develop and implement new strategies to identify and engage potential customers.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Experience: At least 8 years in B2B sales within a manufacturing environment.
  • Technical Knowledge: Background in textiles, polymer materials, coatings, sealing tapes or laminating is desirable.
  • Experience selling waterproofing products, sealants, polymer coatings, or toll coating solutions is a plus..
  • Sales Skills: Strong consultative sales abilities with a proven track record of closing deals.
  • Project Management: Experience in managing customer projects from lead generation to implementation.
  • Communication: Outstanding verbal and written communication skills for in-person and virtual client interactions.
  • Tech-Savvy: Proficiency in MS Office, ERP, and CRM systems.
  • Travel Flexibility: Ability to travel 50–60%, with occasional international travel.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Valid Driver’s License & Passport: Required for domestic and international travel.
