We're seeking an experienced Senior Tax Manager to join our elite Financial Services Tax team in the heart of New York City. Key Responsibilities

• Lead complex tax engagements for high-profile financial services clients
• Review and ensure accuracy of tax returns (1065 & 1120) for investment funds
• Conduct in-depth research on intricate tax issues using IRS code and regulations
• Manage client relationships and identify opportunities for service expansion
• Mentor and develop junior team members' technical and industry skills
• Drive innovative solutions for clients' tax challenges in the alternative investments space

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree required; Master's in Accounting/Taxation preferred
• CPA, JD, or EA certification preferred
• 6+ years of tax experience in public accounting, with 2+ years in a supervisory role
• Proven expertise in financial services, specifically hedge funds and private equity
• Strong proficiency in tax software including GoSystems, CCH Axcess, and RIA
• Exceptional client service and communication skills
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously
