Program Director - Behavioral Health

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Program Director to lead our Behavioral Health team in the scenic city of Vancouver, WA. This pivotal role involves overseeing a diverse team of 15-20 professionals and delivering exceptional care to our behavioral and mental health population. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in counseling or social work, with at least five years of hands-on experience. As a leader in our organization, you will be instrumental in shaping the direction of our programs and ensuring the highest quality of service.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage daily operations of the behavioral health program, ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements.
  • Provide clinical supervision and guidance to a team of dedicated professionals.
  • Develop and oversee program budgets, resources, and objectives.
  • Implement evidence-based practices to enhance program effectiveness.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to continuously improve service delivery.
  • Analyze statistical data to inform decision-making and report on program outcomes.


  • A Master's degree or higher in counseling or social sciences from an accredited institution.
  • Current licensure as a Mental Health Professional (MHP) in Washington State.
  • A minimum of five years' experience as a qualified counselor, as defined by WAC 388-805 or its successor.
  • At least one year of clinical supervisory experience.
  • Preferred: Eligibility to meet the licensing requirements of a Substance Use Disorder Professional (SUDP) in Washington State.
  • Demonstrated experience with statistical methods, budget management, personnel supervision, and program management.
  • Registration as a Mental Health Professional in Washington State is required.
