We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Emergency Department Nurse Manager to oversee two bustling Emergency Departments in Geneva, NY. This role offers an exciting opportunity to lead and shape emergency care services in the picturesque Finger Lakes region.
• Implement strategies to achieve uncompromising quality and exceptional patient safety
• Foster an environment that promotes staff development and empowerment
• Allocate resources for efficient, effective, and compassionate nursing care
• Coordinate interdisciplinary collaboration and communication
• Oversee recruitment, selection, and retention of personnel
• Ensure appropriate orientation, education, and professional development for staff
• Supervise Emergency Department, Hospital Clinical Leaders, and Medic 55 ALS Program
• Master's degree in Nursing or related field
• Current NYS Registered Professional Nurse license
• BLS, ACLS, PALS certifications (through RQI system)
• Minimum 3-4 years RN experience, including 18 months in Emergency Department
• Leadership experience preferred
• Strong interpersonal and analytical skills
• Proficiency in management systems and processes
• Familiarity with The Joint Commission requirements
• Computer literacy, including Microsoft Office suite
