Work across our organization to design safety into our autonomous vehicle systems from the ground up.
Qualifications:
MISSLE OR AEROSPACE EXPERIENCE ONLY WILL NOT QUALIFY FOR THIS ROLE!
U.S. CITIZEN OR PERMANENT RESIDENT ONLY!!
Minimum Required Education & Experience:
- A minimum of 5+ years of work experience as a Systems Safety Software engineer or related role.
- Degree in Systems Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Robotics, or a related field.
- Expertise with MIL-STD-882E and/or safety critical system design best practices.
- Must have ground-based systems safety engineering experience with automotive products, ships or ground to air defense systems
- Quantitative and qualitative analysis
- Software safety
- MBSE(Model Based System Engineering experience)
- Experience decomposing requirements
- Defense, preferably ground vehicle ..ships are ok..maybe some weapons systems..no missiles
- Experience with DOD systems and/or prior work in the field of robotics
