We're seeking a highly skilled Senior CNC Process Engineer to join our innovative team in Charlotte, NC. In this pivotal role, you'll lead continuous improvement efforts for life-saving equipment used by first responders, working with a division of a Fortune 100 company.
• Spearhead OEE improvement initiatives for CNC Lathes
• Lead new product introduction and sustaining projects
• Manage capital equipment procurement from ideation to implementation
• Prioritize projects using Lean and Six Sigma methodologies
• Support manufacturing operations to ensure uninterrupted quality production
• Bachelor's degree or higher in Engineering or related field
• 3+ years of CNC machining process engineering experience
• 3+ years of manufacturing, process, or automation engineering experience
• Proficiency in CAD/CAM software
• Experience with fixture development, procurement, and qualification
• Strong understanding of GD&T, CMM, PFMEA, and DFM/A principles
• Expertise in 3D CAD modeling (SolidWorks preferred)
• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing methods and tools
• Experience with Swiss lathes
• CNC Lathe programming and troubleshooting skills
• Strong interpersonal and collaboration abilities
• Self-motivated problem-solver
