We are seeking a talented and experienced Senior Manufacturing Engineer to join our innovative chemical manufacturing team in Ashtabula, Ohio. This role offers a competitive salary range of $82,000 - $105,000 with relocation assistance provided. As a key member of our operations team, you will provide critical technical support, drive process improvements, and ensure safety and quality standards are met in our state-of-the-art facility.
• Optimize chemical manufacturing processes and unit operations
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement continuous improvement initiatives
• Troubleshoot production issues and develop innovative solutions
• Participate in HAZOP studies and reliability improvement projects
• Provide on-call support and weekend trial assistance
• Analyze performance metrics and investigate deviations
• Develop and update standard operating procedures
• Conduct statistical analysis for process enhancements
• Manage SAP recipes and support digital transformation efforts
• Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or related field
• 1-3 years of experience in chemical manufacturing or process engineering
• Strong knowledge of unit operations (e.g., reactors, distillation, heat transfer)
• Proficiency in interpreting P&IDs and process flow diagrams
• Experience with Process Safety Management and ISO systems
• Six Sigma certification or training (preferred)
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and SAP
