We're seeking an experienced Senior Mechanical Engineer to join our client's team in Ontario. As a technical leader, you'll oversee complex mechanical projects, develop innovative design strategies, and mentor junior engineers in the building services sector.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and stamp mechanical projects of varying complexities
• Develop and implement cutting-edge design strategies
• Provide technical mentorship to intermediate and junior engineers
• Conduct audits, feasibility assessments, and investigations
• Establish mechanical design standards and best practices
• Resolve construction-related issues through expert troubleshooting
• Collaborate with clients, contractors, and cross-functional engineering teams
• Perform site visits and oversee construction phase services

Requirements

• 10+ years of mechanical engineering experience in building services
• Professional Engineering (P.Eng.) license in Ontario with 5+ years of Canadian experience
• Extensive design experience with central plant systems (HVAC, hot water, steam, chilled water)
• Proficiency in DDC control systems and sequencing
• In-depth knowledge of OBC, ASHRAE, CSA, and ASPE standards
• Diverse industry experience (commercial, industrial, educational, healthcare)
• Exceptional leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
