Position Overview

As a Senior Controls Design Engineer, you'll lead the development of sophisticated control panel systems and electrical schematics, ensuring optimal performance and compliance with industry standards. This role offers an exciting blend of technical expertise and creative problem-solving.

Essential Responsibilities

• Develop comprehensive control panel layouts and electrical schematics using advanced CAD platforms
• Engineer custom automation solutions for diverse industrial applications
• Create detailed Bills of Materials (BOMs) and technical documentation
• Lead compliance initiatives for UL 508A, NEC, and industry regulations
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize design solutions
• Drive innovation in control system architecture and component selection
• Conduct technical reviews and quality assurance procedures

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
• 3+ years experience in industrial control panel design
• Expert proficiency in AutoCAD Electrical or EPLAN
• Strong knowledge of industrial automation standards and practices
• Demonstrated expertise in electrical system design and component selection
• Excellence in technical documentation and communication

Preferred Qualifications

• UL 508A certification or extensive knowledge
• PLC programming experience
• System integration project experience
• Industry 4.0 and IIoT knowledge
