Are you ready to play a pivotal role in developing next-generation embedded processing, sensor, and actuator systems? As a Senior Electrical Hardware Engineer, you’ll join an elite electronics division in Cambridge, MA, where innovation meets mission-critical applications. You'll collaborate with multidisciplinary teams on 12–18 month R&D programs that integrate cutting-edge computing, sensor hardware, and embedded platforms for real-world impact.
Translate system requirements into robust electronic hardware architectures.
Design and develop complex PCBs integrating FPGAs, SoCs, high-speed interfaces, and power systems.
Build, test, and debug electronic prototypes with minimal oversight.
Create manufacturing documentation and provide post-production support.
Lead and mentor team members across multiple engineering disciplines.
Contribute to business development and support proposal writing.
Drive innovation by researching new technologies and enabling unique design solutions.
Manage tasks across functional teams and effectively communicate project status.
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field (Master’s preferred).
5–10 years of experience in electrical hardware design.
Strong background in digital circuit design using COTS FPGAs, processors, and SoCs.
Proficiency with Siemens Designer/Layout, HyperLynx, Ansys, SPICE, and MATLAB.
Experience with:
DDR3/DDR4, PCIe, Gbit serial interfaces.
Power integrity and conditioning for digital PCB systems.
Mixed-signal sensor interfaces and miniature packaging techniques.
Basic firmware understanding (C/C++/Assembly, VHDL/Verilog) to support system integration.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Highly organized with strong attention to detail and time management.
Ability to lead projects and mentor junior staff.
Capable of solving complex technical problems independently.
Strong teamwork and collaborative mindset.
