We're seeking an experienced Senior Estimator to lead our estimating team in Melville, NY. This key role oversees environmental and fuel facility-focused projects, managing estimates ranging from $25,000 to $5,000,000.
• Lead and mentor the estimating team, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of all submissions
• Oversee estimating functions for Construction and Service Business Units
• Prepare and review complex construction and service estimates
• Implement best practices in cost estimation and project evaluation
• Collaborate with project managers and clients to ensure estimate accuracy
• Proven experience in construction or environmental industry estimating
• Strong attention to detail with ability to work efficiently under pressure
• Advanced proficiency in MS Office Suite, particularly Excel
• Experience with cost estimating software (preferred)
• Ability to interpret technical plans and project documents
• Strong leadership and team management skills
• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field (preferred)
