We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Process Engineer to join our innovative chemical manufacturing team in Ashtabula, OH. This role offers an exciting opportunity to drive process improvements, lead capital projects, and mentor junior engineers in a safety-critical environment.
• Optimize chemical processes for safety, quality, and efficiency
• Lead process design modifications and capital project development
• Conduct Process Hazard Analysis (PHA) reviews
• Collaborate with R&D on trial development and implementation
• Provide technical leadership to engineering and technician teams
• Troubleshoot and improve equipment performance and reliability
• Develop and implement innovative process improvement ideas
• Ensure project completion within budget and time constraints
• Contribute to plant safety and environmental objectives
• B.S. in Chemical Engineering or related field
• 3+ years of process engineering experience in manufacturing
• Expertise in chemical unit operations (reactors, distillation, heat transfer, etc.)
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Experience with statistical design and evaluation methods
• Proven ability to lead teams and mentor junior engineers
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
