Medical Director - Addiction Specialist

We are seeking a visionary Medical Director with a specialization in Addiction Medicine to lead our behavioral health and substance use disorder treatment programs. This pivotal role combines clinical expertise with strategic leadership to shape the future of integrated healthcare in our community.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee medical and psychiatric services, ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations
• Lead quality improvement initiatives and enhance treatment outcomes
• Recruit, supervise, and mentor a diverse team of healthcare providers
• Develop and implement innovative treatment programs, including fellowships
• Provide clinical leadership in integrating physical and behavioral health services
• Collaborate with executive leadership on strategic planning and policy development
• Offer on-call support and consultation for complex cases
• Foster community partnerships and maintain positive relationships with external stakeholders

Qualifications

• MD or DO with current Washington State medical license and prescriptive authority
• Board certification in Addiction Medicine strongly preferred
• Proven experience in treating patients with complex co-morbidities
• Strong leadership and management skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
• Proficiency in electronic health records and data analysis
• Commitment to evidence-based practices and continuous learning
