We're seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist to join our 80-bed long-term and short-term care facility in Oneonta, NY. This role offers an opportunity to work with state-of-the-art equipment and make a significant impact on residents' lives through rehabilitation and pain management.
• Conduct thorough evaluations of residents upon admission
• Develop and implement personalized therapy plans
• Utilize exercise therapy, manual therapy, and other techniques to promote mobility and reduce pain
• Educate residents on proper use of physical therapy equipment
• Monitor and document resident progress
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for comprehensive resident care
• Supervise physical therapy assistants as needed
• Maintain a safe, clean, and confidential working environment
• Adhere to infection-control policies and legal requirements
• Graduate degree from an accredited Physical Therapy Program
• Current New York State PT License
• Experience in skilled nursing/long-term care settings (preferred)
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
