We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Senior Nurse Manager to lead our Neurosurgical Medical Surgical (NSMS) unit in Fort Worth, TX. This role offers an exciting opportunity to drive excellence in patient care and operational efficiency in a fast-paced acute care environment.
• Oversee 24-hour operations of the NSMS department, ensuring high-quality patient care
• Implement and maintain compliance with hospital policies and regulatory guidelines
• Lead interdisciplinary teams to achieve optimal patient outcomes
• Manage operational and capital budgets effectively
• Conduct hourly patient rounding and promptly address patient needs
• Enforce safety protocols, including infection control measures
• Mentor and orient new staff members
• Promote cost-effectiveness while maintaining quality care standards
• BSN degree from an accredited nursing program
• Current RN license in Texas or Compact State
• 3-5 years of recent acute care leadership experience in ICU or Neurological unit
• Clinical practice within the last 2-5 years
• BLS and ACLS certifications
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Proven ability to lead and motivate nursing teams
