The Dietitian collaborates with the Nutrition Services Manager to deliver high-quality patient care. Identifying patient needs, they actively participate in developing and executing Multidisciplinary Care Plans with the direct care team. The Dietitian adheres to established Standards of Practice, compiling and assessing data for Nutritional Assessments and Care Planning. They provide nutritional interventions for patients at risk and contribute to meal preparation and distribution.

Who Will Be a Great Fit?  
  • BSN 
  • New York State Dietetics - Nutrition License.
  • Registration with The Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics.
  • Experience in diet therapy and food service management in a healthcare facility.
  • Self-motivated to take responsibility for the nutritional care of all assigned customers.
  • Committed to working within time constraints.
  • Collaborative work with other disciplines and operational team members of the Nutrition Services Department.
  • Independent thinker.
  • Prioritizes work assignments with sound judgment.
  • Demonstrates the ability to handle confidential information discreetly.
  • Deals with the public professionally and courteously.
  • Meets deadlines, manages multiple priorities, and fosters teamwork through effective role modeling.
  • Computer literacy is required for word processing, spreadsheets, and PowerPoint.
