Diagnostic Medical Sonographer - Ultrasound Technologist

Position Overview

As a vital member of our diagnostic imaging department, you'll utilize state-of-the-art ultrasound technology to conduct comprehensive diagnostic examinations while ensuring exceptional patient care and comfort.

Essential Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality diagnostic ultrasound examinations across various specialties including OB/GYN, abdominal, and neurosonography
• Operate advanced imaging equipment including CR, DR, and PACS systems with precision and expertise
• Conduct thorough patient assessments before, during, and after procedures following departmental protocols
• Maintain detailed technical records and documentation of all examinations
• Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare team members to ensure optimal diagnostic results
• Participate in departmental quality assurance programs
• Mentor and train students and staff members as assigned
• Ensure a safe and comfortable environment for patients and their families

Required Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Diagnostic Medical Sonography program
• Current ARDMS registration in OB/GYN, Abdominal, or Neurosonography
• Current ARRT certification
• Valid CPR certification
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Demonstrated technical proficiency in diagnostic imaging
• Ability to work flexible schedules including evenings and weekends as needed

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous clinical experience in diagnostic medical sonography
• Multiple ARDMS specialty registrations
• Experience with various ultrasound equipment and PACS systems
