Senior Vascular Interventional Radiology Technologist - IR/Neuro Specialist

Position Overview

As a VIR Technologist, you'll specialize in complex vascular angiographic imaging procedures, working alongside leading healthcare professionals in our state-of-the-art angiography suite. This role encompasses both interventional radiology and neuro-interventional procedures, serving adult through geriatric patients.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform advanced vascular and interventional radiological procedures
• Execute specialized imaging for neurological, thoracic, and abdominal procedures
• Conduct genitourinary and gastrointestinal nonvascular imaging
• Manage peripheral vascular and venous access procedures
• Ensure optimal image quality while maintaining radiation safety protocols
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams
• Monitor and care for critically ill patients during procedures

Required Qualifications

• Florida State Registered Radiologic Technologist license
• ARRT (R) certification required
• Cardiovascular (CV) registration preferred
• Graduate of an accredited School of Radiology
• BCLS certification (must obtain within 30 days)
• ACLS certification (must obtain within 6 months)
• Minimum 1 year VIR experience (less required with strong imaging background)
