Cardiac Electrophysiology (EP) Specialist - Interventional Cardiology
Join our state-of-the-art Cardiac Catheterization and Electrophysiology Laboratory as a skilled EP Specialist. In this vital role, you'll work alongside leading physicians to diagnose and treat complex cardiac conditions using cutting-edge technology and innovative procedures.
Essential Responsibilities:
- Assist in diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures including PTCA, stent placements, and IABP insertions
- Support complex electrophysiology studies and ablation procedures
- Monitor and analyze cardiac rhythms during procedures
- Operate specialized cardiac mapping systems and EP recording equipment
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols and maintain sterile environment
- Participate in patient care planning and documentation
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary cardiac care team
Required Qualifications:
- Graduate from CCAHEP accredited cardiovascular technology program
- Current certification as RCES, RCIS, CV Tech, or ARRT
- 2+ years of electrophysiology experience
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications
- Strong knowledge of cardiac anatomy and arrhythmia interpretation
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
