Core Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive patient care through assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation
- Develop and maintain individualized care plans for patients of all age groups
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Administer medications and treatments following established protocols
- Document patient care using EPIC electronic medical records system
- Perform age-specific admission assessments and ongoing evaluations
- Serve as a patient advocate and facilitate communication between patients, families, and healthcare team
- Maintain compliance with all hospital policies, regulatory requirements, and safety standards
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Graduate from an accredited school of professional nursing
- Current Virginia RN license or eligibility to obtain one
- Current BLS/CPR certification (ACLS, PALS, NRP as needed)
- Proficiency with electronic medical records (EPIC)
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
