We're seeking an experienced Senior Nurse Manager to lead our specialized long-term care units, including our innovative neurobehavioral and secure memory care departments. This leadership role offers the opportunity to guide a dynamic healthcare team while making a meaningful impact on resident care quality and outcomes.
Essential Responsibilities
- Provide strategic leadership for a 151-bed facility, including specialized units
- Direct and mentor a diverse clinical team of CNAs, LPNs, RNs, and support staff
- Implement quality improvement initiatives aligned with DOH requirements
- Manage departmental budgets and resource allocation
- Coordinate interdisciplinary care planning and family communications
- Drive staff development and retention programs
- Oversee regulatory compliance and documentation standards
Required Qualifications
- Current NYS Registered Nurse License
- 2+ years recent management experience in Long-Term Care
- Strong background in special needs or behavioral health nursing
- Proven track record in staff leadership and development
- Proficiency in healthcare technology and Microsoft Office Suite
- Experience with quality metrics and regulatory compliance
