Senior Radiologic Technologist - Medical Imaging Specialist

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform diagnostic imaging procedures using advanced radiographic equipment including CR, DR, and PACS systems
• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments before, during, and after procedures following departmental protocols
• Administer IV contrast media and perform specialized procedures including urinary catheterizations
• Ensure radiation safety protocols and maintain strict adherence to ALARA principles
• Mentor and train new staff members and radiology students
• Maintain detailed patient records and documentation in electronic health records
• Create a compassionate and safe environment for patients and their families

Required Qualifications:

• Graduate of an accredited School of Radiologic Technology
• Current ARRT registration or registry eligible
• Active AHA BLS Healthcare Provider certification
• Strong knowledge of radiation protection and safety protocols
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced medical environment
