Essential Responsibilities:

• Prepare and maintain sterile field during vascular surgical procedures
• Anticipate surgeon's needs and assist with surgical instrumentation
• Ensure proper handling, care, and maintenance of surgical equipment
• Monitor and maintain sterile technique throughout procedures
• Collaborate with surgical team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Participate in surgical counts and documentation
• Assist in room turnover and preparation between cases

Required Qualifications:

• Graduate of an accredited Surgical Technology Program
• Current certification as a Surgical Technologist (NBSTSA)
• Current BLS certification from American Heart Association
• Eligible for registration with VA Department of Health Professions
• High School diploma or equivalent

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous vascular surgery experience
• Military medical service experience welcomed
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Experience with minimally invasive procedures
