Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) - Operating Room Specialist

Essential Responsibilities:

• Prepare operating rooms with appropriate surgical equipment, instruments, and supplies
• Maintain sterile field and assist surgeons during procedures
• Ensure proper handling, care, and maintenance of surgical instruments and equipment
• Monitor and assess operating room conditions for optimal patient safety
• Anticipate surgeon's needs during procedures and respond accordingly
• Collaborate with perioperative team members to ensure successful surgical outcomes
• Document surgical procedures and maintain accurate records

Required Qualifications:

• Graduate of an accredited Surgical Technology program
• Current State Board certification in Surgical Technology
• Valid BLS Certification (Basic Life Support) from American Heart Association
• Minimum 2 years of operating room experience
• Strong knowledge of surgical procedures and medical terminology
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Demonstrated proficiency in sterile and aseptic techniques
