Senior Radiologic Technologist - Diagnostic Imaging Specialist

Essential Responsibilities:

• Perform diagnostic imaging procedures using advanced radiographic equipment, including CR, DR, and PACS systems
• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments before, during, and after procedures following established protocols
• Administer IV contrast media and perform specialized procedures including urinary catheterizations
• Ensure radiation safety protocols and ALARA principles are strictly followed
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in electronic health records
• Participate in clinical education by mentoring students and new staff members
• Create a patient-centered environment focused on comfort and safety
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to optimize patient care

Required Qualifications:

• Graduate of an accredited School of Radiologic Technology
• Current ARRT registration or registry eligible
• Active American Heart Association BLS Healthcare Provider certification
• Strong knowledge of radiation protection and safety protocols
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
• Proficiency with digital imaging systems and PACS
