Clinical Social Worker (LMSW/LCSW) – Outpatient Mental Health
Location: Penn Yan, NY (Beautiful Finger Lakes Region)

• LMSW: $36.20 - $40.49 per hour
• LCSW: $31.55 - $42.52 per hour

About the Role

We are seeking a Clinical Social Worker (LMSW or LCSW) to join our dynamic outpatient mental health team. In this role, you will provide individual and group therapy services to clients ages 5 and up, helping them navigate mental health challenges and achieve recovery goals. This position requires strong clinical skills, a compassionate approach, and a commitment to high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments and develop personalized treatment plans.
• Provide evidence-based therapy services to individuals and groups.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in medical records.
• Offer crisis intervention services, including participation in an on-call rotation for emergency mental health evaluations.
• Foster a therapeutic environment that promotes client engagement and well-being.

Qualifications & Requirements

Education:

• Minimum: Master’s degree in Mental Health, Social Work, Nursing, Psychology, or Art Therapy.
• Preferred: PhD in a related field.

Licensure & Certification:

• Required: Active New York State License as a Mental Health Counselor, Social Worker (LMSW/LCSW), Nurse, or Creative Arts Therapist.
• Additional:
  • Valid NYS Driver’s License with a clear record per health organization policy.
  • BLS Certification required through the RQI system during clinical orientation.
  • CPI Certification within 90 days of hire.

Experience:

• Minimum: 1 year of experience in a mental health or hospital setting.
• Preferred: 3 years of experience in an outpatient mental health setting.
