Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and maintain patient confidentiality
• Implement effective inventory management strategies to optimize cost efficiency
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and monitor evidence-based treatment plans
• Participate in clinical rounds and provide drug information consultations
• Monitor medication safety and quality assurance programs
• Handle sterile and non-sterile medication preparation and dispensing

Required Qualifications:

• Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) from an ACPE-accredited institution
• Virginia State Board of Pharmacy licensure required within 90 days of hire
• Strong knowledge of clinical pharmacology and medication therapy management
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays

Preferred Qualifications:

• Completion of a Pharmacy Practice Residency
• Previous hospital pharmacy experience
• Experience with electronic health record systems
