Assistant Director of Healthcare Facility Management

• Partner with Director of Facility Management to oversee daily operations and maintenance of healthcare facilities
• Manage and develop facility staff, including hiring, training, and performance evaluations
• Oversee department budget, resource allocation, and vendor relationships
• Implement and maintain regulatory compliance programs for Environment of Care and Life Safety standards
• Coordinate construction and renovation projects while minimizing operational disruptions
• Supervise preventative maintenance programs using CMMS systems
• Direct emergency management procedures and safety protocols
• Manage facility infrastructure including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and medical gas systems

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Facility Management, or related field
• 5+ years of healthcare facility management experience, including supervisory roles
• Demonstrated experience with healthcare regulatory compliance (Joint Commission, OSHA, CMS)
• Strong knowledge of building systems and healthcare infrastructure
• Excellent project management and budget administration skills
• Superior communication and leadership abilities

Preferred Qualifications:

• CHFM, CHC, or CHE certification
• Experience with healthcare construction projects
• Knowledge of energy management and sustainability practices
• Proficiency with facility management software and CMMS systems
