Radiologic Technologist - CT Specialist

We're seeking an experienced Radiologic Technologist to join our dynamic medical imaging team. In this role, you'll perform diagnostic imaging procedures utilizing state-of-the-art equipment while providing exceptional patient care across all age groups. Essential Responsibilities:

• Perform diagnostic radiography, fluoroscopy, and portable radiography examinations for patients of all ages
• Operate CT scan equipment with precision and attention to detail
• Maintain accurate positioning and exposure techniques
• Participate in department quality improvement initiatives
• Mentor and work collaboratively with Radiography students
• Maintain patient records and prepare detailed technical reports
• Participate in continuing education to maintain current competencies

Required Qualifications:

• Current BLS Certification (American Heart Association Healthcare Provider)
• Virginia Radiologic Technologist license or ability to obtain within 90 days of hire
• Strong knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology
• Demonstrated experience with digital imaging systems and PACS
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work in fast-paced, dynamic healthcare environment
• Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and participate in on-call rotation

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to perform sedentary to medium physical activities (10-50 lbs)
• Extended periods of standing and walking
• Visual acuity to detect subtle differences in radiographic images
• Manual dexterity for equipment operation and patient positioning
