Diagnostic Imaging Specialist - Radiologic Technologist (X-Ray Tech)

Essential Responsibilities:

• Conduct diagnostic imaging procedures using advanced radiographic equipment and PACS systems
• Perform patient assessments and ensure proper positioning for optimal diagnostic images
• Administer IV contrast media and conduct specialized procedures following safety protocols
• Maintain detailed patient records and documentation in electronic health records
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to deliver comprehensive patient care
• Mentor and train new staff members and students in radiologic procedures
• Ensure compliance with radiation safety regulations and quality control standards
• Maintain and operate DR (Digital Radiography) systems and related equipment

Required Qualifications:

• Graduate of an accredited School of Radiologic Technology
• Current ARRT certification or registry eligible
• Valid AHA BLS-HCP certification
• Strong knowledge of radiation protection principles and ALARA practices
• Excellent patient care and communication skills
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous experience in diagnostic imaging
• Additional modality certifications
• Experience with PACS and RIS systems
