Pulmonary Function Technologist (PFT) - Respiratory Care Specialist

Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive diagnostic pulmonary procedures using advanced equipment and both invasive and non-invasive techniques
- Execute precise testing protocols and maintain detailed patient records in electronic medical systems
- Manage the PFT laboratory, including equipment calibration, quality control, and inventory management
- Mentor and train medical residents, respiratory care students, and staff members
- Oversee testing activities and ensure accurate reporting of diagnostic results
- Coordinate and staff community health fairs and outreach events
- Provide respiratory therapy services as needed, according to licensure requirements
Required Qualifications:
- Associate degree from a CoARC-accredited respiratory therapy program
- Current respiratory therapy license
- CPFT certification required within first year of employment
- Current AHA BLS-HCP certification
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- 1-3 years of clinical respiratory care experience
- Experience with pulmonary function testing
- AHA ACLS certification
- Experience with electronic medical records systems
