Cardiac Progressive Care Unit (PCU) Registered Nurse

We're seeking a compassionate, skilled healthcare professional to deliver exceptional patient care in our specialized cardiac unit. Position Overview

As a Cardiac PCU RN, you'll provide specialized care for cardiac and medical-cardiology patients, including both observation and inpatient cases. You'll work with state-of-the-art technology and gain extensive experience in managing complex cardiac conditions.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized care plans for cardiac patients
• Monitor and manage patients with conditions including AMI, Hypertensive Crisis, Unstable Angina, Arrhythmias, and CHF
• Care for post-procedural patients (Cardiac Catheterization, Pacemaker insertions, LAAO procedures)
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Utilize EPIC EMR system for accurate documentation and medication administration
• Provide patient/family education and support throughout the care journey

Required Qualifications

• Current Virginia RN license or eligibility to obtain licensure
• Graduate of an accredited professional nursing program
• BLS certification (ACLS certification required within first year)
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
• Proficiency with electronic medical records (EPIC)
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
