Clinical Nurse Manager - Behavioral Health Services

We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Clinical Nurse Manager to lead our Behavioral Health unit. Position Overview

As the Clinical Nurse Manager, you will oversee daily operations of our Behavioral Health unit, ensure excellence in patient care, and lead a dedicated team of healthcare professionals. This role bridges clinical practice with administrative leadership, requiring both hands-on patient care expertise and management skills.

Essential Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor clinical staff while ensuring delivery of high-quality behavioral health care
• Manage daily unit operations, including staffing optimization, scheduling, and productivity tracking
• Develop and implement staff education programs and annual competency assessments
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to enhance patient care outcomes
• Monitor and evaluate quality metrics and patient satisfaction indicators
• Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and organizational policies
• Participate in performance improvement initiatives and strategic planning
• Serve as a clinical resource for complex patient care situations

Required Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse license in good standing
• 3-5 years of inpatient behavioral health nursing experience
• Proven leadership experience in a healthcare setting
• Strong clinical assessment and intervention skills
• Excellence in communication and interpersonal relationships
• BSN preferred; MSN highly desirable
• BCLS certification (or obtained within 30 days)
• Nonviolent Crisis Intervention certification (or obtained within 30 days)
